Thank you!
What do I wear Friday?
Think 70's inspired, funky, and refined (suede, fringe, expressive layers). Guests are welcome to bring their cowboy boots and hats, but no one needs to dress “cowboy” unless it’s already in their closet. 🤠Mood board: https://bit.ly/fridaydresscode
What do I wear Saturday (women)?
Our wedding dress code is Funky Formal. Please wear a long dress or jumpsuit in any shade of our wedding colors (image below). Feel free to add lots of sparkle & personality with jewelry, accessories, and fur coats. If you plan to stay past 10pm, we recommend bringing a change of comfortable clothes so you can keep dancing & lounging until late. ✨ Mood board: https://bit.ly/funky-wedding
What do I wear Saturday (men)?
Our wedding dress code is Funky Formal. Please wear a non-black suit with a pocket square in our wedding colors. Ties are optional, but if you choose to wear one, we’d love for it to match our color palette as well. ✨ Mood board: https://bit.ly/funky-wedding
What do I pack?
1. Warm layers for night.
2. Sturdy shoes & activewear for hiking.
3. Outfits for Friday & Saturday's events.
4. Earplugs if you're staying onsite.
5. A sense of adventure 🌲
What's the weather like?
Northern California is beautiful in the spring with highs in the 70s. At night in the forest, temperatures can drop significantly down to the 40s, so please bring a warm layer. All events are outdoors. Dress accordingly!
Can I bring a +1?
The official wedding invitations will be sent mid-March and will indicate whether you have a +1.
Can kids come?
As much as we love your little ones, this is an adults-only weekend. Embrace the kid-free retreat into nature!
What if I have dietary restrictions?
Please indicate any dietary needs when you RSVP. Friday's dinner will be served buffet style and Saturday's dinner will be served family style, all with gluten free and vegan options.
Will alcohol be served?
There will be local beer and wine as well as an extensive array of herbal elixirs and non-alcoholic drinks.
Where can I park?
For Friday's welcome event, there is parking on-site at The Madrones. For Saturday's wedding, there is ample parking on-site at The Brambles. For Friday, we recommend carpooling with other guests.
Will there be a shuttle Saturday?
Yes, we are coordinating a shuttle that will pick up and drop off from hotels in Philo as well as Mendocino.
How can I help the bride & groom have the best time?
Dance your heart out! Meet the other guests. Enjoy yourselves, take it at your own pace & bask in the beauty of the California coast! 🌞🪩
